Vishal is a professional coach and consultant, having qualified with CTI (the Coaches Training Insitute), one of the largest coach training organisations in the world.
He works with clients from a diverse range of sectors – whether individuals, teams or organisations – in a confidential and integrated manner, providing any one or a combination of coaching, psychometric assessment (ability testing and personality profiling), recruitment advisory and values consulting services. Every client offering is bespoke and is developed in exact accordance with client needs – current and future – and expected outcomes and goals. Vishal is passionate about utilising all the methods and experience at his disposal to ensure the transformational journey is enjoyable, sustainable and inspiring.
Vishal’s career history underpins his breadth of knowledge, interests and expertise. He started his professional life in the City, working as an investment banker in different front office positions for Deutsche Bank, Société Générale and Barclays Capital (as it was then known). These roles required him to work closely with all functions within a corporate and investment bank and with clients and colleagues across fund managers, hedge funds, private equity shops and professional services firms (accountants, lawyers and consultants).
Finding himself drawn to working more closely with people and helping them with their professional and personal journeys as individuals and groups, he moved into executive search and headhunting via work within the not-for-profit and NGO domains. Whilst in that space, he assisted with fundraising for health, community-building and international development projects in Asia.
Moving into recruitment offered Vishal the opportunity to deal with a multitude of human capital issues. He has interacted with clients and candidates across sectors, coaching, assessing, advising and hiring all the way from juniors and MBAs through to the C-suite and Global Head Level in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the US. Vishal has worked across the finance sector, professional services firms, general industry and corporates, real estate, IT, healthcare, SMEs and the public sector.
This progression over time towards the “people agenda” has naturally led him to combine coaching and consulting, drawing upon his background and toolkit of cutting-edge techniques. The client is always at the centre of this integrated model and is why Vishal can confidently work with clients from any sector and assist with a wide range of issues.
In addition to his professional experience, Vishal has a BSc from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an M.Phil from Cambridge University. He is a member of the International Coach Federation, the UK Values Alliance and the British Psychological Society Register of Qualified Test Users.
